Serving the battered women and children of the Tarrant county area

Hello from our Counselor!

Hello there and thank you for visiting this page.  If you are reading this information, you either are looking for assistance for yourself or for someone close to you.  This organization provides services that can help a woman feel supported through one of the most challenging times in her life.  Brenda's organization is not about hand-outs but about empowering women to make good choices moving forward, and counseling is just one of those services.

My goal in providing counseling to you is to allow you to grow and learn about yourself while also helping you to become aware of the issues that may hold you back from being your best.  I welcome the opportunity to assist you with compassion and understanding in reaching your goals through my solution-focused and positive-oriented approach to therapy.

I hold a Post-Masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Masters degree in Applied Psychology, both received from Seton Hall University in 2005.   My undergraduate degree is from Montclair State University in Montclair, NJ and is in the field of business. My respect of your current situation and my life-long passion of helping others, together with your desire for change, will help us to uncover the strengths you need to be your best.

My therapeutic philosophy is a combination of discussions of the past, definition of the present and setting goals for the future. Using this unique blending of techniques fosters the ability of my clients to find strength in their life and to be able to use that strength to determine their future.

I welcome the chance to help you look at your future with a sense of hope and purpose. I will treat you with compassion, understanding and respect knowing that asking for help is not an easy thing to do.
